Welcome to the Pearson ELTD (Trinity CertPT) Application form



You’ll need the following documents available before beginning:

 

1. Your personal details


2. Proof of your teaching qualifications

You'll need to upload certification to show that you either have, as a minimum:
  • An initial teacher education qualification, e.g., a Trinity CertTESOL, or a local state sector qualification plus proof of a minimum of 6 months teaching experience. (Proof of teaching experience will have to be a stamped and signed letter on the relevant institution’s letter head with clear contact details of the signatory)
OR
  • Proof of teaching experience for at least 2 years. (Proof of teaching experience will have to be a stamped and signed letter on the relevant institution’s letter head with clear contact details of the signatory)

3. Proof of your English proficiency - For Non-Native English Speakers only.

You'll need to upload:
  • Any certification of your English proficiency (e.g., IELTS, CAE, etc.)
OR
  • An official letter - stamped and signed on the relevant institution’s letter head with clear contact details of the signatory, that states your level of English proficiency)

Please note, we have 4 cohorts per year:
  • COHORT 1: Course Access as from 1 January
-Final assignment submission due 1 Oct
  • COHORT 2: Course Access as from 1 April
-Final assignment submission due 1 Jan the following year
  • COHORT 3: Course Access as from 1 July
-Final assignment submission due 1 April the following year
  • COHORT 4: Course Access as from 1 October
-Final assignment submission due 1 July the following year

Once your application has been approved, you will be slotted into the most current cohort and will be able to access your course immediately on payment.
